As well as being a ‘Gold Sponsor’ of the event, and presenting the World Vision Advocacy Award, World Vision is running two workshops to challenge and engage participants around the theme of ‘Accountability: achieving results’.

The first workshop looks at the extent to which poor people can hold policy makers and service providers to account on the design and delivery of essential services and will be led by speakers from Uganda, Mozambique, Brazil, South Africa and the UK. The second focuses on ‘Youth as peacebuilders in post-conflict transition’ and will bring together young peacebuilders from Africa and Asia to share their experiences and lessons learned. The intention is to show how youth have played their part in holding governments and other groups accountable to the commitments made in peace agreements.
